Clove Oil - Proven as effective in providing pain relief as benzocaine according to a study published in the Journal of DentistryΔΔΔ2.

Oxygenated Olive Oil/Olive Extract (oleuropein) - CUROXEN’s formula consists of ultra-pure, certified organic olive oil. The olive oil undergoes an oxygenation process (yep, it’s infused with good old O2, necessary for cell repair and regeneration) that combined with olive extract creates a highly antimicrobial substrate.

I have an autoimmune disease that causes chronic mouth ulcers. I read about this stuff on a Facebook group site and decided to try it. I was not disappointed. I will purchase it again when needed.

This small tube of Curoxen is fantastic. It truly works on canker sores. I had a sore on my tongue from eating too much citrus fruit. I couldn't get rid of it. I saw Curoxen on Amazon and wanted to try it. I wasn't sure it would work, but it did. This is the best stuff. The taste is not that great, but it works! If I had to deal with another canker sore, I would order this again. Thank you for Curoxen. It is excellent.

Understanding Canker Sores: Symptoms, Causes, and Prevention

Canker sores, also known as aphthous ulcers, are small, painful sores that can occur in the mouth. They are not contagious, but can cause discomfort and make eating and speaking difficult. In this article, we will explore the symptoms, causes, and prevention of canker sores, providing you with comprehensive and detailed information to help you better understand this condition.

Symptoms of Canker Sores

The symptoms of canker sores can include:
  • Small, shallow sores that appear white or yellow with a red border
  • Pain or burning sensation in the mouth
  • Difficulty eating and speaking
  • Swelling in the affected area

  • Causes of Canker Sores

The exact cause of canker sores is not known, but there are several potential triggers, including:
  • Stress
  • Hormonal changes
  • Weak immune system
  • Certain foods, such as citrus fruits and spicy foods
  • Injuries to the mouth, such as biting the cheek or tongue
  • Certain medications
  • Nutrient deficiencies, such as iron, vitamin B12, or folic acid

  • Prevention of Canker Sores

While canker sores cannot be prevented completely, there are several steps you can take to reduce your risk and manage symptoms:
  • Reduce stress through exercise, meditation, or other relaxation techniques
  • Avoid trigger foods
  • Brush and floss regularly to keep your mouth healthy
  • Use a soft toothbrush to reduce the risk of injury to the mouth
  • Maintain a balanced diet to ensure you are getting all the nutrients your body needs

  • Diagnosis and Management

If you are experiencing symptoms of canker sores, it is important to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. Your doctor may perform a physical exam, take a swab of the affected area, or order blood tests to determine the cause of your sores. Based on the results of your examination, your doctor may recommend over-the-counter pain relief medication, topical creams, or other remedies to help manage your symptoms. In severe cases, a prescription medication may be necessary.
